    I've always been happy with the parts I've bought from Warmoth (not many have ended up being assembled into guitars, but that's down to my own laziness...).

    Their Standard Thin profile is very similar to the Modern C profile you'd find on an American Standard Strat.  And if you like that neck shape, about 90% of their in-stock necks have that profile so you can see exactly what you're buying!  Also if you choose the Vintage/Modern construction it's got 22 frets, a skunk stripe and truss rod adjustment at the headstock, so it looks very much like a Fender Am Std neck.

    You can buy finished or unfinished, I'd suggest unfinished - they're very cleanly made but a bit too sharp around the edges, I prefer slightly softened edges around the headstock and certainly some rounding of the fretboard edges.

    Having said all that, I'm sure there are very good cheaper and more easily obtained alternatives.
