Heritage H-535 anyone?  Made in the old Gibson factory in Kalamazoo and about half the price of a 335.

Good guitars, apparently, but I never saw one with a colour finish that I liked (they were all flamed blue or some other disgusting colour), neither have I ever seen one with a headstock that is less than 90% of the ugliness of an Epiphone headstock.

Yeah, headstock is a bit Marmite if you know what I mean. Mines a rather nice (IMO) amber/honey flame thing. If I could work out how to post a photo on this forum I'd do it :)

The casino I played the other day had its bridge set up like this -

Does that look correct with the posts being at different heights?
If it plays well then I guess so, but that implies the neck is twisted or just set wrong in the first place.

It's seriously wrongly set up, and it may imply a neck problem... although looking at the end of the fingerboard it doesn't look that bad. So it may be that the bridge is just adjusted wrong.

Someone here bought a Les Paul like that recently, and several of us (including me) thought the neck might be misaligned, but it was just badly set up.

Especially as the intonation is clearly miles out on the G string if it's a plain string.

Thanks guys, the strings seemed a decent action all the way across to the board, so I guess a twisted neck is likely. I was thinking of making the guy an offer as I know he doesn't use it, but I think I'll pass
