Had my speakers up loud and almost had a heart attack at the initial "HIYA!". After lying in a dark room with a cool flannel on my head for some time in the recovery position, I watched the rest of it and enjoyed it very much.

A lot of people think Gretsch are only good for rockabilly and country music.  Oddly enough, the same people who say this often have never owned a Gretsch, and have a Telecastet to hand. Most odd, but I suppose most demos reinforce the idea.

They’re hugely versatile. I adore the complexity of the aural experience, that chime, and that tone when you dig in. To me, a Filtertron is the best pickup ever made.

In a world of vanilla sounding (and looking) guitars, they stand out.

Couldn’t agree more, wisdom duly awarded. For me it’s filtertrons and then Jazzmaster pickups as the finest creations in all guitardom. :)

Also quite lovely.  I’m not quite in the market yet, but want to buy a 6120 with Dynasonics,  or possible wrestle the NEddie away from @DrCornelius ....
