Not sure if soundgarden is going to be your type of music, but do give it a try. Composition wise, lyrically, the riffs, the tunings, literally everything about them is excellent to my ears.

Who knows, you might enjoy it too.

Chris would very frequently be seen sporting Gretsches. And one of his favourite guitars was also the telecaster (heavily used during their 96 tour). I suppose because of the ability to support the alternate tuning with stability and good definition.
