Out of interest, what do you use the Line 6 M5 for on bass? I have one but have never explored the bass options.

I have two actually - one for guitar as well.   It's mostly for modulation - chorus and phasing with the Future Impact and a bit of chorus with a fretless as well.  It's a very versatile pedal with loads of classic 80's sounds - it even has a version of Roland's Dimension D available so if I want something new, I can usually dig about on the M5 and find a patch that gets close.
