If I was in the market, I'd pay £600 all day for a SLO clone. Hope it gets somewhere near.

Cheers guys, at this moment I'dtake that.

What irks me somewhat is that literally a year ago I was offered over a grand for it, and at the same time one went on eBay with inferior caps and transformer and sold for a couple quid shy of £700. The transformer here alone was about £300 after import. The replacement valves and new footswitch I've just bought too...  I'm gonna have to sell my Mark V to recoup my losses.

I haven't for years and years. Always BIN.

I have to say it is quite exciting when a few bids come in.

I so wanted to buy this from you, but not having enough cash right now, I was hoping that if it stuck around for a couple of weeks and maybe had a price drop there was a deal to be had.

I really feel for you right now.

That was a moment of madness going to the 'bay unannounced and so quickly.  I do hope it wasn't beer induced ?
It would have been nice to keep this within theFretBoard family.

Hopefully you will get a last minute flurry and get a decent value for a very nice amp.  Good luck mate.

    Cheers Chris.

Yeah maybe I was hasty as I need the money but I'm starting to regret it now.

I'm not sure if I actually prefer my Mark V now or not either....

What did it sell for Dave?

I missed the auction due to being in hospital. I hope it wasn't too low.

£461 and the dude doesn't want to pay for it.

If that's what it's worth in this market right now then fuck it, I'll keep it.

I can smell a dual rig and some fancy midi switching coming on although that would be utterly deafening. I might keep it as a home amp now too. Just spent money on new valves and footswitch etc...anyhow.

Dammit, man. If I'd known that yesterday, I'd have had the cash from the sale of my Marshall to offer you more than that. As it is, I bought a JCA22H for a spare.

    Timing. Never my friend.

If you've still got it and want to get rid in a few months' time, give me a shout.

Just my luck on this one tbh. The case only closed tonight anyhow. Plus I was pissed at the price anyhow.

Oh well, I end up with a mint amp to disturb the neighbours with.

    I need a 1x12 now.

I can do you an old battered but still very functional star field 2x12 for £70 delivered currently wired at 4Ohms. It has Fane Medusa 30 speakers in.
