reggae session musician and producer Lindo had a bit of a side project in instrumental covers, some of which were competent but uninspired. I like the slightly ethereal nature of this and the heavy use of rotary speaker (?) and one of his finest moments. 

I went to see Buddy Rich when I was 18 which I remember fondly but about the only tune I recognised was this, although I’m not that sure why I knew it at all as I’d never listened to The Beatles very much. But some credit to the source material that two covers can be so different yet still retain the essence of the original.
