    As much as I detest Oasis, I very much doubt it. They somehow had a lot of influence on the American indie scene of the early 2000s.

    Nile Rodgers is awesome and, imo, seriously underrated as a player rather than a creator, if you see what I mean - he's justly renowned as a producer and writer and 'the man behind the hits', but so much of his work depends on his rhythm playing, and it's fantastic
