I know it's childish but I've never been able to take Jack White seriously since Noel Gallagher described him as  "Zorro on doughnuts".

Ha, Jack probably would reply with "Sorry, Noel who?"

As much as I detest Oasis, I very much doubt it. They somehow had a lot of influence on the American indie scene of the early 2000s.

Nile Rodgers is awesome and, imo, seriously underrated as a player rather than a creator, if you see what I mean - he's justly renowned as a producer and writer and 'the man behind the hits', but so much of his work depends on his rhythm playing, and it's fantastic
