Reni from The Stone Roses probably ought to have been the lead singer really.

Ahh, having watched that documentary about The Nightingales in the current line up the vocals are shared, to some extent,  with the drummer. If I've got it right she's Fliss Kitson.

I'm too lazy to find an example but this'll be more fun anyway....

oh and FWIW this one has a singing Fliss on...

Andy Sturmer from Jellyfish. Also unusual for playing standing up:

Doesn't Gil Moore from Triumph do a lot of the vocals?

That's the one I was going to mention.  He tends to do the rockier songs, Rik Emmett does the proggier ones.  Both great singers.

Todd La Torre from Queensryche - he started out as a drummer and played the drums on the last album.

    Buddy Miles.

Brann Dailor from Mastodon sings a fair bit, not really lead vocals though.

I've been trying to remember this '60s band all afternoon.  The drummer was best known for his prosthetic hand but I thought he was also the lead singer - turns out he was, but only on the autobiographical song "Moulty".  Bloody cool hair.

No Such Thing As Was He looked cool in the jungleMoulty on rock and roll hair

Brand dailor sometimes. He's arguably the best singerninthe band from a pitch perspective and he's not playing easy drum parts either.

Can't recall Karen playing and singing at the same time - Maybe there are clips available but not in the same was as say Don Henley did - Yet I saw a recent Eagle gig from California and Don both played less and sang less

I played in a Covers Band where our Drummer was the Singer for anything upwards of 50% of the set.
