Folding guitar stands?

I'm looking for recommendations for a guitar stand that folds up small for portability, but needs to be suitable for electric, acoustic and bass guitars. The Hercules mini ones look good but they're specific to electric or acoustic, and I can't find any photos of how small their autograb one is when its folded.

What is everyone using?

I have a couple of the Cooper Stand.  It fits in a Fender Case.  Very well made, but no protection from knocking it over.  So I would not put it in the middle of a room where people can walk pass, rather in the corner of the room.

Konig and Myer 17580. Inexpensive, safe, won't damage delicate finishes, simple. This particular model (of the several they make) is sold as an acoustic stand but it fits electric, bass, acoustic, even my gigantic baritone jumbo. I had a wooden Cooper stand split when it was accidentally kicked (luckily the 'kicker' caught the guitar before it fell), however their plastic model as been serving well for many years. They're surprisingly sturdy given the size, and fit in pretty much any gig-bag pocket.

They appear to be 'nitro safe' and Lowden were using the acoustic version for displays.

I have a Hercules mini, but it's just the mini mini without the neck support. Fairly rugged and packs up very small, I used it for gigging as I had to do a couple of quick change overs between guitar and harmonica and with bigger stands I ended up wrestling them half way across the stage.

Any guitar stand can't put up a fight against a drunk at a gig.

Herculea do some slab-sided ones that fold flat onto themselves that take electric and acoustic, as well as the mini metal ones that are specific.

I had a bunch of those for sale recently! I thought they were pretty good 'gig-bag' stands.
Took a while to sell and I gave the last one away ;-/

I use the double guitar Hercules grab types for shows
 
They fold up smaller than a mic stand does, but not by much. 

Hopefully that gives you an idea

Seems to be well made and is ideal for home but, like any compact guitar stand, I’m not sure I’d trust it on a crowded stage

Like Chris, I've got a couple of the full-size ones: one a double, and one a single. They do go small(er), but but not proper small. I've also got the mini ones that I use a lot around the house and at jams, but those are the ones you don't want because they're specific to electric/acoustic. They do fold up ridiculously small, though, for transport.

A chap at one of the local open mics always brings a load of the linked ones though, and they do a perfectly adequate job and are very easy to pack afterwards.

Just on the point about the Hercules Mini - although they're specific to the electric or acoustic, this is only down to the length of the support arms with the acoustic having longer arms - you can still use this for electric, so one of these would work for either, much in the same way that other generic models do.

My preferred choice is the autograb model which I mainly use, but I have a mini as a spare for convenience due to the tiny size.

not always easy to find but folds up very small given how good it is. I am not endorsing the retailer.

Our bassist used to bring a Hercules mini in his bag to rehearsals. I used to think wow he's a really sorted dude, I should be more like him, I should buy a Hercules mini. For rehearsals and jam nights you tend to want to take minimum stuff but they hardly add any weight or bulk and much better than leaning your guitar up against an amp.

I used to have a more expensive Hercules stand. All the rubber/foam bits turned to a sticky mess and the stand itself fell apart.

surprised - I use the mini Hercules for the guitar shows I exhibit at - Same set of stands for around 16/17 years now and apart from a touch of WD40 on the 'roller balls' I've done nothing and all are still in fine fettle - And that is around 16/18 shows a year

I’ve got a Mugig somewhere which is pretty much the same thing. It was so light that I thought it would fall apart but has been fine.
