I played my mates Epiphone Casino worn black (£399 no less…) into my Two Rock Studio Signature Combo, at band tonight and it was a RIGHTEOUS experience…

It got me thinking… whats your favourite P90 guitar ?

Well, I only have the one.  1997 LP Special with P100s swapped out for Wolfetone Mean and Meaner P90s.

Tough. I have a few and builds I have done. They are all great. My true historic CS R4 is incredible.

But probably my ‘65 SG Special pips it. I’m using it as my main set guitar. It covers most of my bases.

I posted here about it with pics and demo.

Well, since it’s my only guitar with a P90 I guess it’s got to be...

    ...(just ignore the bridge HB).
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

I've got an Epi Junior from the 90s which has always sounded great but I've really been jonesing fora 2 P90 guitar for a while now.

I looked into a Rivolta Combinata which I'd probably have bought by now if they hadn't changed all the plastic parts from classy white to cheap-looking greetings-card gold and christmas cracker "chrome".

Could also put P94s in my Riviera for the full authentic Valensi set up or jam a couple into a cheap strat of some kind...

Nonetheless I'll be following this thread with interest!

Definitely my Les Paul, it just has a bit of magic about it really, though I think P90s bring out the character differences in guitars more than humbuckers do, so it's worth having more than one. :)

An all-mahogany SG is obviously a classic tone, and a full depth archtop with P90s is a wild ride at stage volume. Hell, bung 'em in everything!

I’ve had plenty of P90 guitars, my current Gibson LP Special in TV Yellow is a belter. I’m a Fender man at heart but when I plug in the Special I kinda remind myself, begrudgingly, that it’s probably the best sounding guitar I own. £1100 well spent!

I've got quite a few in various forms and a modern single cut junior is being made now but this is really tough to beat with alot of vintage parts, 56 p90s, vintage bigsby, dogbone bridge.
