is too many?

I seem to have quite a few dirt pedals.......

Digitech Bad monkey, Hot Head, Metal Master

Boss SD-1, SD-2, DS-1 megadistortion

Blackstar - HT Dual

Marshall - Guvnor Mk1, Guvnor Mk2, Jackhammer, Shredmaster

MXR Distortion3, Microamp (I know it's not really a dirt pedal)

Is that too many

(I'm guessing no)

EDIT, I forgot about the VOx Satchurator........

It's a bad sign when you don't know how many you have, right?

    yup

and I am there with you
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

The holy grail of overdrives eh? Its always the next one you buy. I used to be really bad for collecting overdrive pedals, I sold a lot of them off over the years.

    My current collection is:

    Bob Burt Boost
    Bob Burt Overdrive
    Bob Burt GR8T Distortion
    Fulltone '70
    Valvette Custom Drive (my favourite)

and some Irontone Cranked Combos which is a pedal my ''company'' makes (made a few for a couple of people I know and sold a few).

Over the years I've had Wampler, Xotix, Bearfoot etc. Loads. wish I still had most of them now!

On a gigging board 4 is too many, for me. For "keeping" or collecting or just plain owning, as many as you like. I just started to sell/trade when it became too financially stupid for me to keep a bunch of bits I wasn't using. That was around the 10 mark. I found with OD's, if they werent on the board, I never used them.

Had a fairly awful fuzz and treble booster addiction at one point though. Refuse to divulge numbers but I'm such a dweeb I wrote it down. Disgusting.
