Auden Chester £675 - no longer available

I bought this to try alongside a dreadnought to compare and have decided to keep the dreadnought. 

This is a good quality 000 that is in excellent condition bar the two marks pictured on the top and a bit of buckle rash on the rear.
The frets have a few marks but I can’t feel them when playing it. It has the original hard case with it that is pretty much unmarked.

Here are the specs from the Auden website. I have contacted Auden and will amend if necessary, should it turn out these aren’t exactly right.

Looks great! Not mahogany (/sapele - “African mahogany”) in that above photo though. Appears to be rosewood of some description.

I’m sure it’s some form of rosewood. My Taylor has the same striping, and that’s billed as rosewood.

I have had confirmation from the nice people at Auden regarding the construction. 

This is what it’s made of -

R - Rosewood

S - Spruce

T - Triple 0 (000)

F - Full Body

I will amend the ad if that helps anyone. I am also going to get it set up and the frets dressed next week should that tempt you

Having recorded with a very early version of this model and played a few more Auden models since, these really are fantastic acoustics, can’t recommend them highly enough. Best of luck with the sale, someone will be getting themselves a cracking acoustic.

Thanks @Teyeplayer it is the most expensive acoustic I have owned and the dynamic in sound is quite something. It gives you back exactly what you put in

It seems that the Auden parlours and 000s are a bit thicker in body than a standard parlour 000, aren't they?

Yes that seems to be the case @Amigo ;
the body depth tapers from 90mm to 115mm
