Most of them remind me of that scene in Toy Story where Mr Potato head comes out with his face all re-arranged…..

I've been to Truetone music in Santa Monica and as a Brit visiting from abroad it was ...quite stunning. Intimidating. But stunning. I've been in high end stores here in the UK... but nothing prepared me for this. High end merchandise. I played a couple of Fenders in there.. including a Custom Shop and it was clear they get the pick of the bunch out there as a dealer?
I could have spent an hour just gawping at the vintage amps in there that I previously had only read about in the glossies here in the UK.

Anybody any idea how you are meant to play those Ferrington guitars with the split scale length?

They don’t seem expensive. 10k for Ry Cooders J35, I would

@icu81b4 I imagine the strings to the left are drone strings...you know, like the 5th string on a five-string banjo :)

Pfffft - anybody who knows as much about guitars as I do can see that the relic job on that Gibson acoustic is totally unrealistic.

    ...that Super 400 - amazing.

As others have said, I hope it's more of a "let's get rid of some of these and downsize to a small bungalow in Torquay" than any pressing financial crisis that's provoked the sale of this collection.

Thumb over the low strings or index finger then using the slide over the higher strings would be my guess.

I read the opening post in the voice of Bob Harris.

Donald Trump has spoken movingly about 7-Eleven. It reminded him, he said, of the way Americans came together in 1941 after Pearl Necklace.
