    @vasselmeyer It was indeed, although it was 10 years ago or so, and I note he is no longer a member. 

    I recall him working on stuff remotely with Tom - I spent a few hours in his home studio in Liverpool.

  • I grew up loving this band and yes the pomp and pretensions mattered less in those days two high points for me were Tarkus and Brain Salad but there is some impressive playing and musicality. A lot now sounds a bit OTT with a dollop of pretentious but it was the 70's. It's sad that Keith topped himself.

    Glad I grew up with prog than what the teens have to listen to today.

  • I'm with most of the others, their music ranges from the absurdly brilliant to the brilliantly absurd!
    I find The Nice is a more enjoyable listen over ELP though
