These are great videos. For someone like me who had NO idea of what goes into making an acoustic, they’re a fascinating watch.

I googled the prices after watching the second video, and was surprised by how reasonable they are, considering.

I agree. You get a top quality instrument made with utter attention to detail, experience and care with change from £3k. I am not surprised it’s a 2 year wait

I’m really enjoying watching his craftsmanship…but I can’t help but worry about his lungs with all that dust and not a mask in sight….

Love it. Been thinking about making a guitar for years - he makes it look possible in part 1. I guess the really technical stuff with the neck and fingerboard is yet to come.

that’s the bit for me too, so much time invested and then he just chisels away at something, one slip and the whole thing goes in the bin, that is pure skill and confidence.

What a charming and talented bloke Jonny Kinkead is. I've been considering a high quality OM, so seeing these videos is very timely. Not sure if it's a blessing, or a curse. Probably the latter from my bank balance's perspective.
