  • P.s. Just to echo everyone else's sentiments... that strat is glorious and the Rivolta's are great guitars for the money. A great collection!

The Rivolta is a tremendous guitar, I have one in black and gold, and it’s Dusenburg quality, if not better.  Had a superb premium instrument feel.
Superb finish, feel, ano playability, abs those mini humbuckers are superb.  This guitar rocks!!

  • What amazing photography.
Kudos sir for one of the best FS posts I have ever seen
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Thank you. I really do appreciate these comments and it has me thinking that perhaps I should move these into my work portfolio. I can think of worse clients to have than guitar makers.

Wow that St Vincent! Beautiful and even with  a clearly well repaired break, that's a great price

I was about to PM you to grab the MM... but not with the neck damage :-(

    Gorgeous guitar and GLWTS :-)
Completely understand, this issue means different things to different folks. You’re only one county over from here and very welcome to come, have a coffee and take it for a spin while it’s here. Not that many opportunities to check out a St Vincent.
Great and generous offer - I'm soooo tempted... but I'm soooo weak... :-)

You'll sell it at that price.

Well it’s my Dr Z Jaz that came as a Head and I had Zilla make a combo cab. Dr Z have sent me a Z logo as it’s currently a Dr L… the logo caught on my jeans https://reverb.com/uk/item/48729292-dr-z-jaz-20-40-40-watt-2x10-combo-deluxe-reverb-princeton-fender-blackface-tones
