What do you work as and why'd it attract you?

Money-wise it's better, and more than likely climate-wise. But they have a live to work culture and have very few holidays - alway put me off a tad. Plus,. and I know it might sound stupid... it took me years to get into a decent band and having only just joined, I'd be loathe to leave. But at the same time, can't stop that from letting you work in other places...
