There was a thing going round while Klons were out of production (pre Klon 2) that Rockett were going to be making them. Barber were also on the cards for making them. Maybe the deal fell through but they actually had the schematic!?

Has that got a touch more gain than a klon?     Nice looking and sounding klone though.

The amp was on the edge anyway so may give that impression.

Yeah sounds close to what I remember my old silver one sounding like, I had a KTR and it just didn't have the same tone to me.

Rockett pedals in Canada built the first batch of KTRs before Bill decided to take his business elsewhere for whatever reason. If you can be arsed it's all documented over on TGP where the Rockett guy talks about it.

I expect a lot of 'boutique' Klones will look like the silver pony now (I know of one that definitely is). It's an expensive way to do things, but with their mark up and a bit of goop, it'll be no probs.

Though FWIW, Rockett stuff is usually SMT machine populated boards IIRC. So won't be.

Not that that makes things better or worse you understand.

Made a phone call. Due in October and will be £149. That is until they sell out and you have to pay £600 for a used one on ebay!

I can't comment on how much it sounds like the original Klon, but it certainly looks more like it than the KTR. In fact, it looks better than the original, too.

Its interesting that the housing doesn't look anything like the other J Rockett Pedals. So maybe this was supposed to be the Klon 2? Or is it just clever marketing?

The J Rockett email came this morning at 440am. So I've ordered mine. There were 300 in stock at the time I purchased mine. Now at 0851am there are 222

I have heard talks of £150 here from a dealer so that won't be so bad but where is the option for standard shipping ?

my friend in the states just picked on up, he said they sold 90 in 3 minutes.
