My guitar parts order arrived today (shout out to Axetec!) so I spent this evening replacing the 500k push-push pot with a 250k push-pull. Another incremental improvement, partly because the push-pull switch is much more solid in operation than the push-push. It was a lot of fiddly work though!

Also in my order were a couple of what Axetec call 'Speed knob with grip'. I have fitted these to my Gibsons because they make life so much easier, and I wanted something grippy to grab when activating the humbucker.

Here is how the guitar looks after the final bit of electronic pimpage:

Having done 3 with this I'm really happy with it. However the neck/middle mix is a bit meh, so I've re-wired it as follows:
1. Bridge SC, selectable for HB voa push-pull switch on volume pot
2. Bridge SC and Middle
3. Middle
4. Bridge SC and Neck
5. Neck
