Was bored again so I did sumfink else…

What's Hot
Based on the drive I did a few weeks back but with a stacked boost infront which can be used on its own… needs a name now… will sort the out side when I’m next bored…

I have no idea what it does, but I have to say I love the way you have wired everything up.  It's like artistic engineering.  Very grid-like and utilitarian yet beautiful at the same time.  Takes a good bit of forward planning.

Looks good. Did you design it yourself?

Exactly this /\ looks fantastic though I see issues with OCD!  ;)

Not the circuits, tweaked them a bit tho’…  I did the layout on the fly so I guess I come up with the layout :)

Thanks chaps!… although if the ocd was there it would be more neat ;) never happy but it’s getting better!…

That's lovely, though it always pains me to see that wiring of the bypass switches.

Can get away with it with this one… it’s not a “leaky” circuit!.

Ah, gotcha. I do really admire the construction. I'm very much a PCB person so that looks like engineering witchcraft - in a good way.

I'd love to see a build process thread if you don't mind showing how the trick is done.

Super neat - straight from the Harry Joyce book of wiring
    lovely job.

Took a couple of pics along the way…

^ ground buss soldered in (amazing what you can do with paperclips ) power rail sits above the ground buss… just a matter of thinking it through… power rail gets supported by the led’s for example…

But start with the pots & jacks in the box, stick in the ground buss and build from that… worry about the power rail afterwards

^ drive circuit finished (without power) doing the circuit is not that hard… it gets messier when you need to hook it up to the switches and jacks…

Follow the circuit diagram… wouldn’t want to attempt it with anything involved tho’ don’t think I’ll be trying a klon and it does take up a lot of space in the box…

it’s just a case of making sure you have good mechanical connection before dropping a little bit of solder on there to fix it all…. It should all work without soldering tbh (apart from pots and jacks)

this is my second attempt at p2p…first is below.

Same circuit as the drive in the new pedal… new pedal has smaller electrolytics (needed tbh) and more places to go to ground so you can alter the layout slightly… to be fair you could prolly do away with the ground buss and just ground to the back of the pots…

as it’s all solid core (paper clips ) you can be a bit more creative with the routing…

That’s the input Jack… the plug misses everything and it will all stay out the way coz of the solid core… (you want solid solid core not the bendy stuff)

give it a go… bazz fuss is very low parts and should be easy…

If you want to add a volume

Plus that sounds nasty in a good way!!!!!

just work the circuit out on a bit of paper!!!

Edit: here you go… bazz fuss you can layout as p2p

    Edit again:

can tidy that up a bit more:

Oh yeah @sporky unless you like swearing and heartache get the power sockets with the nut on the outside of the box!!

With that you can wire without being in the box ;)

I’d be well happy if I bought a pedal and someone had taken that much time and care to build it!

Excellent. I've done a few on strip board but nothing like this.
