FS/FT Squier 51 £250

Squier 51 in the coolest colour of all - vintage blonde with black pickguard.

2005, so one of the more desirable original run with the fatter neck, top-loader bridge, etc. All original with Vintage Blonde finish and blackguard.

In excellent condition, very few signs of wear and little or no fret wear. No modifications.

The neck is 0.86" at the first fret 0.88" at the 12th, a nice full C shape. Not excessively fat, but certainly not what I'd call slim.

7.25 lb, which for its size (it's a very slim body) actually feels nicely substantial. Spanky and resonant. 

Stock tuners hold tune well, and the bridge is stable and isn't buzzing.

The plastic nut is well cut and perfectly fine.

You won’t find a better example.

£300 £275 £250 inc P&P, or collection from Gateshead. Trades-wise I might be interested in a dual humbucker guitar or a mono synth (Behringer Model D, Pro 1, etc) of some description, FX (reverb, delay).

I just noticed that. These are good guitars. I think a lot of people used to mod them didn't they

Bump and price drop. It’s cheap, it looks great, it’s got a lovely neck and it’s in great nick. Robin Guthrie recently started playing one. What’s not to like?
