SOLD - Duesenberg Caribou - £1200

I think this is hands down the finest of the solid/chambered Dueseys. There is something about this specific combination and the placement a smidge closer to the bridge of the humbucker that give it it’s own flavour. This was my favourite guitar to use in  a band, it cuts through, sounds huge and sharp without getting too shrill or aggressive, just power and tone. And of course the P90 has the deep and smooth thing going on that marks the Domino pickup as special. Together, they’re hotter than Jonathon and Jennifer Hart*

Not at all a case, this was a working guitar and shows it’s miles with pride. Tidy and smart still; definitely not perfect. As you can see in the pics, the neck has been de-glooped and is now fast and loose silky satin finish. You can even see a teeny glimpse of the maple.

It defines my sound from my band days and it's always been my favourite for real live playing. That really doesn't look like something I can see happening again at the moment, too many other life things going on. And I've spent an eye watering amount on kit for work, so the toys have to pay for it

I used to make a calendar every year for a car club/forum. We'd get submissions from all the members and squeeze in as many people's images as looked good and it was a nice little earner to help with the board running costs. I might see if that idea flies with the management here or not? It's about the right time of year to start one.
