May I ask what the 335 neck is like ?
Is the nut width the smaller or larger size ?.......I don't know a lot about them but I believe there was a period when necks were very slim and nut widths were narrow

    Hi Dom,

I think your thinking of the 70's.

Nut width on my 1984 - 335 is same as on my R9

Neck is not slim but certainly not big - Very close to the R9 actually.
R9 has a 'very' soft V to it though.

     Hope that help's.
