So I started with Reaktor then went to VCV rack and then to the hardware.
The hardware is very different- you can't get the same experience using the computer versions.
It is like the difference between a Marshall simulator plugin and a 100w Marshall in the room with you wound up.
Completely different experience.

But a good way to start.

Bit of an update.

I have a pre-release version of the six track album, that is looking to be released sometime in early 2023.
This is more conventionally electronic/techno oriented.

It was made as part of my post graduate research project examining the intersection of composition, performance and improvisation using a modular synthesiser.
Almost all of it was performed on modular synths.
It was a bugger to make but I am glad that I did it.
