They were always put on a great show back in the 70s/80s - saw them 3 times !

Those glam/rock&roll revival type bands are pretty much my favourite early memories of TOTP. I did see a version of Mud live once but they were rather past their sell by date by then. Glad you enjoyed it.

I'm ashamed to say I know Little about them but that drummer can really hit. He really nailed the whole Jerry Allison thing.

I listened to Showaddywaddy whilst on a cruise on the Irrawaddy. If only they had been playing Doo-wah-diddy.

That whole 70's rockabilly revival thing was never my scene, but no doubt that Showaddywaddy would've been an entertaining night and great to see they're still going.

They were great fun as a band to be honest. As a kid I couldn't believe Dave Bartram's massive mouth! Shame he left the band but then he is 70 now.

I was curious about this myself. By the looks of the poster you'd assume what you'd said - but turns out the drummer is the only original member of the group from the 70s...
