That's a great idea whether you're money-saving or not.

Apart from buying for kids, why do we make such a big deal of Christmas presents once we're adults?  Only about 1% of the time can you come up with something they'll actually like, mostly it's just desperately scrabbling around for something they won't hate.

Has anyone mentioned smoking?  That, apparently, costs a fortune.
