The Vulcan displays are a bit tamer these days than they used to be, which is totally understandable.

Still to see it pull up and give it some with the howl is pretty awesome even if it does it just once a display.

It did a flypast over Wellsbourne yesterday to salute another of it's sisters (XM655) but I missed it

As a yoof I saw Vulcans at air shows, Lakenheath and/or Mildenhall and Duxford, the take-off was awesome. Praps we were closer to the field back then pre H&S. You could cover your ears but it was still louder than Satan shouting for his breakfast.

Lightnings - my Dad was Air Traffic Control, as a kid I used to love watching their short take-off and belt into a steep climb, sonic boom and all. Proper.
