Don’t get me started on the damage a snagged lead can do to a hollow body.
As a repairer I've seen the damage a pulled lead can do too many times - even to a Strat, if the pull isn't directly downwards. At best, the lead comes straight out and leaves you with an unprofessional buzz and no guitar sound.
I really can't understand anyone with a clue not doing it. I also prefer to use the amp handle - top or side - to loop it through at the amp end as well, for the same reason, even if it's coming from a pedalboard.

As for "when am I ready?" You'll never be ready. It works in reverse, you become ready by doing it. - pmbomb

At the moment I'm looking for:
* Hamer SS2 & T62
* Music Man Luke 1
Please drop me a message.
Also, would like to point out that this story makes my school sound *way* more rock and roll than it was.
