Didn't Merc think they had great tunnel numbers last year?

I hope there will be a NowTV special offer before the start of the season otherwise I'll be on the highlights only.

Would be nice, his talent deserves better than a 2 time champion.

Same, Channel 4 highlights only again for me I like the Channel 4 team, but shame they only get one live race.

I honestly believe they probably had incredible simulations, but couldn't model the bouncing, and that bouncing mani hey couldn't run their cars at the optimum setup for speed because they'd have given the drivers concussions. 

That doesn't mean AM isn't in the same position, of course. And let's be honest, every single team will expect a big step forward in laptime in year 2 of a new set of regs as everyone will have spent all of last year trying to work out how best to bring the Ferrari/RB concepts over to their own cars

Would be nice, his talent deserves better than a 2 time champion. 

Conversely. His talents are exactly why he is only a two time champion.

With Lawrence Stroll stalking the factory seeking whom he may devour, I imagine everyone in Aston Martin is highly motivated to make positive noises about the new car.

Still, I hope it’s true.  Be good to see Alonso up at the sharp end on a regular basis.

Conversely, McLaren already seem to be not overly confident of their new car. Never a good sign when a team is actively trying to lower expectations before they've even started testing...

Well last year's car was almost bang on the money, so I guess it's more evolution than revolution. I'm sure writing 'Ferrari' across the rear wing will stop their engines blowing up every other race.

Seems to be a lot of black all round on the liveries - everyone's obviously trying to save every last ounce of paint to keep the weight down!

Merc is back to black - almost no paint just like the old ones. Sidepods look maybe even more aggressive than last year?!

It's interesting Merc have stuck with their zero pod design.
They must be happy with it as a concept.

They were getting much faster at the end of last season.

I really want LH to get his 8th.

For many reasons. The FIA cockup with MV's 1st win (I don't blame MV at all for that, he was just driving the car) is a factor, but also because it will be a pleasure to watch certain elements of society have a meltdown. Like Piquet Snr and others who continue to think the 'N' word is acceptable language.
