Currently not in my possession, it is with the owner who resides in a forthcoming travel destination, but he has agreed the price. I would have to take a closer look though.

I've also seen some tasty R9's on offer  in very good nick going for £2,200 to £2,400... sometimes less!

The UK is a bit overpriced compared to some places, but obviously you have to have good reason for making a trip besides buying a guitar.

In some other countries that is the going rate. The UK has high VAT which people expect to claw back when selling on the second-hand market. That 20% is what the government steals claims, it's not part of the guitars value. They may also have more reasonable import duties, shipping rates and retail prices to begin with.

I'll take a look during my upcoming trip. I also spotted a case-queen 2013 R9 going for £2450 subject to negotiation.
