I like having a beard.  I like to think that if an Islamic extremist decides to start shooting up the supermarket whilst I'm on a milk run that he'll look a me and just for a split second think twice and whilst he hesitates I shall be off.  Maximum-Beard-Win.
Just wear a Burka if you're worried about that.

It has the added benefits of not being itchy like a beard, and you don't have to wait for it to grow.

Waterproof Burkas in this weather are very useful.

I wish thinning long hair would come back into fashion.  The only celebrity who seems to be sporting it is Keith Lemon.

Hipsters moved on from beards a year or two ago and started wearing Kim Jong-Un haircuts ironically.

The mullet will be back in fashion next.

Of course, there are parts of southern Germany and Austria where mullets and double denim never went out of fashion.

    Wisdom.

I've sacked off proper shaving and invested in a beard trimmer and give myself a number zero.

On the face that is, the nuts are a number 2.

    Beard trimmers FTW.

I don't have a beardy beard, I trim it with this ace trimmer on number 3. It can also shave - I do the bit under my lip cus I hate that bit being rough.

First one broke after about 6 months and they sent me a replacement - twice. Got one spare now.

Facial fuzz doesn't suit me at all - and Mrs Feline is very anti-beard
But this seems to be funny

I'm not manly enough to grow one of these epic beards, but I have sported a fairly puny goatee for many years.  I absolutely HATE shaving.

Ok, it's just a passing fad and it'll be over soon enough, but I think hipster beards are cool.  Unlike the First World War haircut which 95% of footballers (and 100% of hipster beard wearers) are currently sporting.

I've sported some sort of facial for the last ten years or so. Love not having to shave at all, though.....

I'm the slightly starstruck one on the right, by the way.

As a proud owner of a beard since the age of 15, it annoys me no end that the trendy kids who used to take the piss out of me for having a beard, now have a beard. It seems every lager-swilling fanny has one now.

    Harrumph.

I think some of it's Hipsters and some of it's elite fitness people growing "operator beards"

I grew a beard for a gig. Played the gig. Shaved the beard off the next day.

Now I have grown it back cos having a beard is both awesome and sexy. I do however frown upon the white bits as they betray my otherwise youthful appearance.

I rather liked mine, took a chunk out it accidentally while shaving 'round it so it's not as bushy any more. It DOES make me look really old though :'(
