These adaptive pedals have been out for a while, but I've not really seen anyone using them or talking about them much.
The concept of them seems quite cool. I'm guessing from the vague marketing waffle that they are splitting the signal into various frequency bands and applying a distortion to each band separately.
Sound very cool from the demos and having something with loads of response to dynamics and string to string clarity can't be a bad thing.
I'm not sure why the DA-2 is a load cheaper than the DS-1X.
As usual Pete Thorn makes me want one.

I really like the idea of the notes in more complex chords sounding out whilst still distorting. That's actually a big deal to me and something I based my style on years go, accommodating that.
