Especially regarding how well it does lower gain OD sounds.  If it covers OD and Dist territory, I'll be very happy to get one.

Is that the same algo as the DS1-X?

No it came out about a year before. 

Same underlying tech, but different tone.

I've still not done the system update on mine yet even tho I downloaded it to my pc months ago. .. Should pull my finger out n see what I'm missing.
