Which Small Monitors?

Well, I didn't go back for a second listen, but I did order the HS7 pair! There's a shop on ebay selling them off for £60 less than everywhere else. I can't link to them at work, but if you do a search for Yamaha HS7 then you should be able to find them easily enough.

 

I've got cables on the way from Thomann, and I've held off on mounts/foam for now until I've got an idea of how they sound in the room.

I'm too embarrassed to send any photos of my err..."studio" cos it is a desperate tip of a pit. Its shameful.

Well my studio'll be a lounge for the most part, so it doesn't really count! We're planning on moving late next year though so these are simply planning ahead until I have a dedicated space.

Besides, I'm not sure if my reviews would offer any benefit - I've got nothing to compare them to
