That looks pretty impressive, I'd be interested to see just how accurate the actual tube and transformer swap outs are on the resultant tone.

Love the idea of the app, but dont own any apple devices. With the new USB audio being made available in Android 5, are there plans for an android version of the app?

They have support from Ola Englund and Misha Mansoor. Check out oxygen by Pete Cottrell on youtube, may not be your thing but he uses Bias for his tone and it sounds great! There was a blind test between BIAS, kemper and Axe-fx on sevenstring.org (I think) and a LOT of people thought the Bias was the AFX.

Its getting to the point where I am trying to justify buying an Ipad, focusrite interface etc. And using this as a recording studio instead of redoing my PC. As they do a very, very good mixing app too.
If I can find a decent drum computer I can program on iPad, I'm sold. Otherwise I'll have to fork out for superior drummer.

JamUp is a multiFX app that is available separately but integrates 100% w Bias @Fretwired

I have it on my iPad2.

Latency is an issue, but I realise my iPad is getting old.

Sounds good, but I don't get any latency with Amplitude, so I use that.

  • As far as an Andriod version goes, it all depends on the latency issue.

JamUp on desktop would be awesome, but there are many more updates coming to BIAS soon.

Feel a purchase coming on :-)

If it sound good then its going to be a winner

That's what I did when I first saw Amplitube at NAMM, tried it out for 2 hours, went home, stumbled upon JamUp and sold 3/4 of my rig that week.

Once I found JamUp, I sold 3/4 of my rig and got an iPad and JamUp with a Griffin Stompbox, use it for everything.
