In films when they're wearing hasmat type suits they always have the gloves/boots over the suit rather than having the suit over the gloves/boots.

My lens cap is in the way. so I need to move that, then it's slightly out of focus then slightly too much focus the other way, hands a bit wobbly so can't quite see the thing I'm looking at, then my elbow slips off the thing it's resting on...
