Both similar age and condition. Both play nicely. What do?

Red is the nicer colour, but can’t you find one without a Bigsby?  ;)

Well, as as fan of Bernard Butler and Noel G - I'd buy the red - if I had a spare whatever hideous amount of money they must be selling for...

Reading your post in ML section as well, I gather the red one is a VOS and looks like that on the above pics - IMO it looks a nice 'tone' of colour

Both would look nice side-by-side on your wall at home.

I think red, but it’s a difficult choice. I’d take the pickguard off the black one or maybe replace it with a black guard though.

Black, because everyone has a red one.

I’m so bored I might as well be listening to Pink Floyd

335 and 345 should be red, 355s should be black. So black it is but with a pickguard swap :)

Both are VOS. The black is actually a slightly nicer instrument and costs a little less, but the red is vibey despite needing more setup work.

Both have custombuckers afaik. Doesn’t help that they’re a 30 minute subway ride apart and the shops have different demo amps.

I guess maybe the real question is “Keef or Noel/Marr/Butler?”

The last time I was asked that question I had to explain to the young lady in question it depended on exactly what she was buying.

But in your case, and actually hers, red is the correct answer.

I prefer red too, from those photos. I would normally default to black and the photo of the black one is unflattering, but even accounting for this this there's something  extra about the red one
