Yep, that's why I bought a soldering iron. That said, Bloodstone's pricing looks great.

The parts will cost you £60, surely it's worth £20 too have someone solder it for you?

I don't think it's unreasonable to charge that much for the time and effort involved in wiring the thing. Whether it's worth the money to each individual buyer depends on how much they enjoy doing the work themselves, how skilled they are at it, how quickly they need it done etc...


FWIW, I've used Six String Supplies in the past and been very happy with the quality of the parts and the customer service.

I too have James's Home of Tone harnesses in my strat and tele. Work is good, parts are quality. Plus his comms are good (always an important thing!)

Another +1 from me. James sorted me out with a non-standard loom with great comms and in quick time.

I've always used Bloodstone wiring loops. CTS pots and good quality wiring. I think they are a bit cheaper than James HoT too.
