Anodised pickguards are horrible.

The feel of them under my fingers is vile to me. If I bought a guitar with one, I'd take a screwdriver with me and leave the 'guard in the shop.

It's like a rat with the plague, a mosquito with malaria, a pizza with pineapple. I don't even want it in the house.

indeed they do, £67 isnt bad for a custom plate but I'd have to be 100% sure it was the right colour

7 string too - the bass string appears to stop just above the neck pickup, so that the neck isn't too fat. Looks like 2 of the strings are fixed to the bridge so only 5 on the trem. A unique and very clever design

yep I love how AI almost gets there but also is miles away, theres also what looks like a googly eye next to the controls.

Try good old earlpilanz on ebay, then - just as good for around half the price (based on the two Jazz Bass guards I bought from Tiny Tone and earlpilanz).
