Lost a pet last week.

So sorry for your loss @tekbow, it really is heartwrenching to lose a furbaby. They are family and never "just a ...", whatever animal they may be (unless you keep pet wasps, lol).

I actually got a day's compassionate leave last year when Mr Doof left us!

@Greatape but you totally didn't. You were there for him in his life, and there with him at the end. That's the very definition of doing the right thing for your fluffy family.
