Anyone else been spammed by Guitars.co.uk?

Just had an email from "Richards guitars" asking me to complete my registration (password etc) with them and/or Guitars.co.uk.

I've only ever used the RobDavies username on here or MR, so it can only have come from one of two places.....

Be careful out there.....

Richard's in the process of upgrading the forum software and is transferring all the historical data from one to the other.
I guess it's just an auto reminder if you ever logged on with the old site. Nothing malicious. I've got one too.

Same here. I know Richard and as Gilby says he's upgrading so everyone that's signed up (even years ago) will have got the same.

For those who don't know Richards Guitars is his shop in Stratford-upon-Avon. He used to run Regent Guitars in Leamington.

I remember the regent guitars forum from 2002 or so. Good place.

I had one as well .. a bought a guitar from there years ago. Excellent service and a free setup.

I doubt Richard will be inviting me back anytime soon. He banned me from his forum without warning after my disagreeing with him about something over on Musicradar.

I wish Richard wouldn't invite me back. I don't want to receive anymore of his emails but I have to re-register to unsubscribe - no thanks. I've asked for my details to be deleted several times but I'm still getting them. I'm stuck with him. So it is spam. He does get nasty , doesn't he. And if you call him on it, he starts crying.

We've had our run ins, I'll leave it at that,as otherwise I suspect it may all kick off again, which would be very tiresome.
