I have it all the time at work, I even toast it first.

Last week I had a bag of baby leaf salad that needed to be used up so put that in too lol

Cheese, maybe some thinly sliced apple, and spicy ridged crisps (Walkers Max Paprika for example) for maximum flavour and crunch.

    Decent wholemeal bread with that.

I'm a fan of Hula Hoops, Frazzles or Walkers Chicken on white bread, plenty of butter.

I don't know if they still sell them, but the Worcester Sauce Walkers were nice with some cheese. Also if you crushed them up, spread them on your toastie underneath your cheese, you get a very satisfying crunch to your toastie

Edit: if just eating bread or crisps without combining them my choices would be different. I like white and brown bread equally but don't find that brown works for me with a crisp butty (or a chip butty for that matter)
Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me

    Warburton's farmhouse sliced white
    Nothing spread on bread
    25g - 27.5g bag of Walker's cheese'n onion

Open the packet and tip the entire contents onto a slice of bread then arrange them to get even coverage across the bread.
Place other slice on top and gently press it down until the crisps crunch a bit then immediately release pressure and let bread recover.
Pick up sandwich using both hands and just devour it.
A strong mug of tea to accompany and jobs a good'n! :+1:

White bread, loads of butter, salt and vinegar flavour crisps. Maybe a slice of cheese, too, if I’m feeling fancy.

White bread. Butter. Strong flavour crisps.

    Sometimes a little mayo.

I’ve never tried adding any other ingredients.

    c) - butter and Dairylea spread.

    Apples? Mayo? Come on guys.

White bread, ready salted crisps and salad cream.
