Going to pick songs that I recall at the time, so appropriate memories to go with them - A lot of good songs you find out retrospectively, especially the 60's - And/or maybe you didn't like at the time - Who liked Chic in the 70's ?

60's - Roger Miller - King of the Road
70's - George McCrae - Rock your baby
    80's - Billy Idol - Rebel Yell
    90's - No Doubt - Don't speak

    Tombstone Blues - Bob Dylan
    Tubular Bells - Mike Oldfield
    Too Much Blood - Stones
Man on the Moon - REM

P.S. Just watched the 'official video' of Too Much Blood. Man, that must be one the stupidest pop videos ever made - a cheap rip-off of 'Thriller' in which Jagger and Richards look perfectly ridiculous. I never saw that when the song came out. I was living in Madrid, and when this song pounded out of the speakers at nightclubs there, I was solid gone ...

    With or Without You

    90s is hard.
The whole thing is harder than you think it would be. I need to have a think.

Also, no  shit but I was in the shop half an hour back and they were playing With or Without You. Not even a U2 version.

I'd only just got rid so thanks for planting that back  ;)
