After we lost our 12 yo black lab this time last year we held off getting a new doggie, but as it was my 50th today we acquired this handsome little fellow and he is as yet unnamed. Suggestions on a postcard please.

Note I have used the photos @celentium took for his FS ad as they are well good and I couldn't get close to anything as good.

So good swag indeed which included a Hudl2 and various sundries like bottles of alcomahol to imbibe, oh not forgetting cake, we can never forget cake.

Loving the new pup too though who really is a card, very well natured and a cheeky wee scamp to boot, cats not so happy for now but they will come round.

Now that may be a good idea, will try to get that past SWMBO for the puppy.

Need to ruminate on any possible name for the LP, we mustn't rush into these naming affairs for fear of saddling them with a twatty or embarassing handle.

50 is indeed the new 40, and that is my story and I am sticking to it.

The badge my son gave me said Fab at 50 but I questioned whether the final consonant on Fab is correct. ;-)

Still our wee grandson gave me a best grandad badge so all is well.

Well funnily enough and I am not shitting you @Bucket but his pedigree wotsit says his fancy Kennel Club registered name is Sultan the Slayer.

I will play him a range of differing grades and genres of metal to see which perk up his ears.

For such a wee squirt of a Cocker Spaniel it is a fine name, so you never know. Splendid little chap though.

The LP Studio is awesome indeed.

So are there any more alumni of 50 in 2014 got a later Birthday than November?

If not that makes me the youngest of the Fab @50 2014 club.

Thanks a lot guys and we are still ruminating on the name and Joe was good but hard to get past her indoors. Sue or Janine might be fun.

@TTony he has been getting many walkies from all and especially our wee grandson who is his shadow and vice versa. Can't do steps and stairs as yet (only 10 weeks) but it is hilarious watching him try hard to get upstairs under his own steam.

He is a little bundle of joy and starting to come out of himself, very affectionate wee dude. The cats want to murder him though and I reckon it will take a few days for them to step down from defcon 2. Poor wee guy only wants to be their friend.

There must have been something powerful in the water that year to spawn the motley crew who are 50 this year. Maybe a government experiment gone wrong (or right even).

Your lack of birthday GAS shiny toys saddens me and I reckon a tFB whip round (ooeeer missus) and parcel drop may be in order.

My goodies were totally unexpected so all the naughtier and fun for that.
