Yeah I don't have much time for banning people unless as an absolute last resort. Better to let people actually argue and debate (as long as they're being vaguely civil) than to ban the people who query all this hype etc., and then ban the people causing the hype to attempt to have the illusion of balance. Before long everyone is banned and you have a very insipid forum... not to mention even the order of the bannings/threatened bannings (in most instances the people advising caution are cautioned first because they're "rocking the boat") is ass-backwards.

So, once again, tone is everything.
Good/bad tone is subjective and contextual.
