True Bypass Loopers

What's out there that's good, but not an insane price?

Ideally I need about 6 loops and MIDI control changes.

The Joyo is super cheap, but I've heard it pops which is no good for me.

The Decibel 11 Switch Dr looks great, but it's only 4 loops unless you buy the expander.

The G-Lab stuff is really expensive. (but seems cool).

The Buzz Electronics seems to have quite simplistic MIDI.

Interesting. Do you just buy them direct or do they have a UK distributor?

Buy direct or there is a French retailer that sells them so no customs but the price is higher. Tbh, the difference is not that much since the exchange rate is favourable at the moment.

Everything on the right side of the volume pedal is in the loop.

I have the fuzz stacked in loop 5. Tuner has its own port that's not in the loop but always on. You can see my sticker next to the switch.

So your Bigsky and Timeline aren't in the loop?

No, I've got them outside, after it, as that is wired to the FX bypass switch under the board which goes into the FX loop in the amp.

I still need to get some midi cables (Best-tronics), and then the DPC5 can control the Timeline and BigSky with Midi even though they are out of the loop.

There is a USB port at the back, I believe Disaster Area were doing work with Joel at Chase Bliss which can use the Warped Vinyl and control via the DPC 5 too somehow, I have not updated the DPC5 yet and you need a Midi to TRL cable for that, will do that at some point.

I can't find anyone that actually sells them.

I notice Pete Thorn uses the m]Musicom stuff, but I can't find a UK distributor.

@cbellanga here has one.  He should be able to tell you where he sourced his from.

Moen used to sell direct through UK Amazon but I think they may have stopped.  The was also a German seller on EBay so at least it would avoid extra taxes.

Loopersparadise , in Germany, stock Moen. They have a huge selection of loopers, including Musicom.

I've bought from them a few times & found them great, if a little on the pricey side. Postage was about €15 to Ireland, as far as I recall, so I'd imagine it would be similar to the UK.

I have a musicomlab mkiii now and selling my efx 6 lite.

The musicom efx 6 lite has 6 wired loops and can control 2 midi devices.

It also has 2 cc functions and can switch between manual and preset modes.

Both amazing devices, it really depends on how many things you want to connect to it.

I bought the lite one from loopersparadise for £235 + delivery if I'm not wrong but selling here for £200 delivered. The mkiii I got used.

Hope it helps but can give you more specific info, just pm me, happy to help ;)
