    I would say AFD but tbh the bass is badly recorded or at least doesn't feature in the soundscape like it should

    Blimey @Phil_aka_Pip.. that's exactly my top two as well... plus I'd add the first side of Humble Pie's performance.
    '4 Day Creep' certainly takes to top off my scalp

    No, not really.

    But they are brilliant and criminally underrated.  I know it's hardcore to rate Psalm 9 or The Skull as their best albums - and they are great - but I prefer the later more melodic stuff.
    Psalm 9 is easily in the top 10 metal albums of all time but I love both of the Def American albums as well.
    I saw them at the underworld touring Manic Frustration. The front row consisted of the members of my band at the time, the doom band Solstice and Anathema. Napalm Death, Sepultura and Metallica were all head banging at the side.

    See I'm a huge Pearl Jam fan but Ten doesn't do it for me these days, they've done so much better since then.
