Does anyone remember those odd 'orange and lemon' slices they used to sell in places like Superdrug around Xmas time? The came in a white, flat  plastic container and were sort of gelatine sweets, coated in sugar. 

They tasted like detergent or something you'd clean the house with.

I've no idea why, but we've always watched "Worlds Strongest Man" at Christmas.

This year, my five year old asked what was happening, so I took a few minutes to explain. She thought for a couple of seconds and said "What a waste of energy!"

I can't look at it the same way now.
