Well if my Mrs (if I had one) complained about the above speakers due to aesthetic reasons or an unperceived aural quality, then I'd have to tell her that taking everything into consideration, that she has just become the most unattractive and unpleasantly grating 'speaker' in the room.

Well done on winning a bargain. Hope the Mrs sees it that way too.
